Statehouse photographer Tristen Rouse took a tour of the Missouri State Capitol while it was undergoing construction for renovation purposes. After working together on a full edit I went on to create a longform web center piece and a spread design of the edit.

Photographer Tristen Rouse had the unique challenge of not being able to photogrpah faces while taking photos at the Columbia Boys and Girls Club. I worked to create a full final edit an a web longform for the piece. I then worked with designer Jacob Moscavitch to create the spread design.

Photographer Hillary Tan was tasked with capturing the outdated mascots of a rural Missouri town. Reporter Briar Napier reports on the persistence of racist and offensive mascots by schools and the faculty, families, and students that attend them. Specifically, Napier and Tan combine efforts to represent the voice of the Native American population. . The sources, photos, and subject matter all made this an important and topical story. Editing photos for longform was challenging, mostly because I wanted to include more than the edit needed.
